The final beam is lifted during a Topping Out Ceremony for the new City Hall and Police Headquarters on Laureate Way near the North Carolina Research Campus in downtown Kannapolis. The new facility is expected to open in November 2015. It will also house several other Kannapolis departments and will mark the first time all city services are housed in the same location.
