Central Cabarrus High student Uzochi Dimkpa tests out his paper airplane during Cabarrus County STEM School's second-annual STEMbassy Suites Paper Airplane Contest at Embassy Suites in Concord Wednesday afternoon. Students from various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs from around the county launched their paper airplanes from the top of the 11-story atrium of the hotel. Awards were giving for the planes with the best hang time, those that came closest to the bull's-eye and the most artistic.
