John Travis Turner is walked into the Kannapolis Police Department Monday morning. Turner and Alisha Nicole Carlisle were taken into custody and charged in connection with the death of Malaya Heun. The two are charged with first degree murder, felony child abuse and assault with a deadly weapon.
