Sgt. Andrew Mullee and his wife, Jennifer, look over the bedroom of their new home in Kannapolis Thursday afternoon. Mullee and his family received the four-bedroom, handicap-accessible home built for by HelpingaHero.org and the Patriot Charities. The homesite was donated by Kellswater Bridge. While deployed to Afghanistan, Mullee was seriously injured by a IED explosion on May 12, 2012. As a result he lost his right leg at the knee and part of his left calf, among other injuries.
